Marla Wood

Marla is the mother of 5 beautiful children. She has lovingly called Cache Valley home for over 30 years. This community is where she raised her family with wonderful neighbors and friends. She loves to hike in the mountains of Cache Valley and enjoys living in such a beautiful place.

Marla's journey as a sound bath practitioner grew from my own experiences with restorative yoga and sound meditation. These practices brought her a deep sense of peace, healing, and perspective during challenging times of her life. She loves to tell her story of expansion and growth, so feel free to email with any questions or attend an offering to connect. We do not walk alone.

After earning a certification in children's yoga instruction, she began sharing mindfulness and wellness practices with her elementary students. Over time, she collected a variety of sound healing instruments and started offering sound baths and guided meditations for youth groups, educators, and community members.

As her passion for this work grew, she completed her certification as a Sound Healer, deepening her knowledge of sound-based wellness practices and their ability to support relaxation, mindfulness, and emotional well-being.

During a particularly meaningful sound bath experience, she felt inspired to create Still Waters—a space dedicated to helping others find peace, connection, and renewal. What began as a personal healing journey became a calling to support others through the restorative power of sound, mindfulness, and community.

StillWaters Wellness Collective has a goal to provide a welcoming environment where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience comfort, acceptance, and healing. A variety of practitioners come together in this space to offer healing to their fellow citizens. In today's fast-paced world, we believe everyone deserves a place to pause, reflect, and find stillness
